Surcotec has developed a family of varnishes called Surcolak.
These are temporary protective varnishes soluble in water, lye or alcohol for protective applications such as:
- Protection of polished parts between mechanical operations
- Holding / bonding small parts for machining operations
User Manual
- Apply a uniform film using a suitable technique (brush, spray, spray system). Do not apply too much. Several thin layers are more effective than a single thick one.
- Leave to dry in the ambient air (time depending on the room temperature and the thickness applied). Drying between each layer is more effective than drying all the layers at once.
- If the film is not resistant enough to use, steam the product at 50° for 15-30 minutes just before operations to dehydrate it well. Maximum temperature of 60°.
